On Sunday March 9, we had the privilege of screening The Meaning of Wild to a true Alaskan audience. The doors opened at the Sitka Performing Arts Center in the evening and soon after the seats were packed with locals looking to see how we portrayed their spectacular Wilderness backyard! There were Ohhhs, and Ahhs, and a big ovation at the end. We were so excited to share the film with the folks who know these areas best and look forward to continuing to screen the film across the country, and celebrate Wilderness throughout this year!
